Post-Graduation Training

North Carolina requires graduates to pass the practical exam within three attempts. In the event a student does not pass the practical exam as described, the State Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners requires that a graduate attend a school for forty (40) hours in preparation to re-take the practical, whichever was/were not originally passed. Once the forty (40) hours are complete, the administration notifies the North Carolina State Board, which will then allow the graduate to take the exam as needed. The tuition for post-graduation training is $15.00/hour.
